In case of gas emergencies, gas escapes or suspected gas escapes please call 132 771.

What to do when you suspect a gas leak at home

Call the 24-hour gas emergency number, 132 771, and take note of the following:

• Don't smoke or strike matches
• Don't turn electrical switches on or off
• Do extinguish flames
• Do open doors and windows
• Do keep people away from the affected area
• Do turn off the gas at the gas meter

What to do - suspected gas leaks outside your home

Call the 24-hour gas emergency number, 132 771, in these situations.

Alternatively, call your local gas distributor. You can find this company's details on the top of your Lumo Energy invoice.
