     Electricity Concession

As of August 2011, the annual electricity rebate has increased to $230.46. The reticulated natural gas rebate has increased to $63.40 per year.
Rebates under the Medical Cooling and Heating Electricity Concession Scheme have increased to $230.46 per year.

     Electricity Life Support Concession

Paid quarterly, this concession applies per machine for eligible users of an oxygen concentrator or kidney dialysis machine. The concession assists with electricity costs and is available to those using home-based life support systems in accordance with eligibility criteria determined by Queensland Health.

These services are available through various community groups for people currently experiencing financial hardship.
