Lumo Energy Community Planting Day

Lumo Energy partnered with Living Links in an effort to make the Mordialloc Creek in Victoria a better environment for wildlife to live, and for people to enjoy.

In September, Lumo Energy staff joined more than 50 local residents to participate in the Lumo Energy Community Planting Day. With the sun was shining, the group donned gloves and gardening tools, preparing and planting more than 2,000 Indigenous species along Mordialloc Creek before enjoying a barbecue lunch.

The revegetation project is part of the Living Links program, which aims to develop and enhance existing vegetation corridors along roadsides, waterways, public open spaces and coastal zones in Melbourne's south east. Living Links encourages businesses to provide funds to support these vital environmental projects.
