Lumo Energy is now offering PayTo as a new payment option. PayTo is a secure, digital payment option that allows you to authorise and control payments from your bank account. PayTo agreements are managed directly with your banking mobile app or online banking and give you visibility and control over your energy bill payments.

PayTo is a safe payment option using your banking app or internet banking.
Provide Lumo with your PayID or BSB and account number. PayID is a unique identifier you establish with your online banking. It could be your mobile number or email address, an easy to remember ID. If you don’t have a PayID, log into your online banking to set one up.
Lumo will send you a new one-off PayTo agreement via your banking mobile app or internet banking for you to authorise or decline once you’ve logged in.
Once you have authorised the agreement and the payment has been received, the agreement will automatically cancel. To find out more about PayTo please visit https://payto.com.au
Once you have authorised the PayTo agreement, payments will be immediate.
No payment will occur and you will need to start again or use a different payment method.
This will depend on your bank, if you have the banking app on your phone you could receive a notification, alternatively you could be notified by email or SMS. You can contact your bank for further information.
You will not be able to pay using PayTo and will be advised to try a different bank or another payment method.
While most payments will be processed in near real-time, in rare cases the payment may be delayed. You can always check the status of the PayTo agreement and payment in your online banking, or contact your bank.
